AA-Automovers |
The others |
| Insurance |
Our truckers all have insurance to protect your vehicle during the move, but AA-Automovers carries
an additional policy to provide even more protection for you. |
They depend on the truck owner's insurance alone. Why settle for only one form of protection? |
| Licensed? |
MC# 498378, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. We show this license on all forms and web site pages |
It's required but many companies don't display it; ask them for it. |
| Bonded? |
Bond# 498378, Pacific Financial Associates |
They may say they are bonded, but do they show the company and bond number? |
| Memberships |
BBB of New Jersey Morris County Chamber of Commerce American Moving and Storage Association |
Not required, but a good indication of the quality of the company |
| Management and staff |
AA-Automovers is managed by three generations and is staffed by 25 people with a total of 116 years of experience.
We have separate dedicated departments for sales, dispatch, customer service and accounting. |
Some companies have a few people who try to handle everything at once. This sometimes means things don't get done
or don't get handled by specialists. |
| Pricing |
We quote realistic prices, typically about in the middle of the range. We are in constant contact with our carriers
and know what it will take to get your car moved. Our goal is to give you the lowest price that will still meet your move schedule. |
Some companies quote unrealistic low prices to get your business but they don't tell you that you car may not get
moved if the price is too low. A low price doesn't help if your car doesn't get put on a truck. |
| Moving your car |
In addition to industry-standard common dispatch web sites, AA-Automovers operates its own system (AA-Autodispatch.com)
to stay in touch with more than 2900 carriers. We are constantly updated on their capabilities and automatically notify carriers with available trucks on
your route within seconds of booking your order. |
Most other companies use one or more of the standard sites but have no special relationship or communications with
the carrier operators. They don't have any way of knowing where the carriers have trucks or which routes they can assign quickly. |
| Fee and Terms |
We charge our fee after we have placed your vehicle with a carrier with confirmed pick-up and drop-off
dates. You pay us only when we have earned it. |
Some companies charge a fee as soon as you book an order with them, then can't find a carrier who will move your vehicle.
You have to try another company and work to get a refund. |
| Service |
Call us anytime; we're available when you need us |
Call them and ask a question. Do you get a real person who can answer your question? |
